one of my favorite places to have a really nice vietnamese lunch is Asiaway in Oerlikon. I go there at least once a week and I can’t get enough of it. It’s not like the standard fried noodles place.
When you go there for lunch you’ll get a buffet with a variety of dishes to choose from. Just decide if you want a small or a big plate and tell the waitress what dish you want (you can have as many as you want). The food is made fresh and tastes delicious. If you like it more spicy you should try the chopped chili. It will burn the hell out of you.
Where can you find this place?
Take the tram 10,11 or 14 or the bus 62, 63, 94 to Sternen Oerlikon and walk over to Schwamendingenstrasse 10. It’s a 5 minutes walk. Here’s the map:

Last night I’ve been to a place where I’ve never had gone if I was alone. Fortunately a friend of mine took me there and I was really surprised (in a very positive way). When we stepped into Cafe Plüsch I imediately felt like being back in the 70’s or at some very early Star Trek episode.
After ordering some drinks at the bar we sat down on some seats which turned out to be way more comfortable than I expected. After sitting there for more than two hours my back didn’t hurt. That’s cool.

Soon after we got in the place become more and more crowded but thanks to the not-too-loud music it still was comfortable. So what can I say? The Cafe Plüsch is something which I definitely can recommend. Check it out and leave a comment to tell me what you think.
Where is it: Cafe Plüsch, Aemtlerstrasse 16, 8055 Zürich, Take the Tram 14 to Goldbrunnenplatz and have a 2 minutes walk.
